Kylie Jenner’s First Acting Role Is In Charli XCX’s Film, And People Have Mixed Reactions

On Oct. 9, Charli shared a visually polarizing teaser with a super-heavy strobe effect reminiscent of a Gaspar Noé opening credits sequence. Warning: The teaser video has strobbing effects for people who may experience seizures.

The Moment is said to follow a rising pop star played by Charli XCX, navigating “the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena-tour debut,” according to Deadline. Charli is teaming up with director Aiden Zamiri (director of the music videos for Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” and Charli’s “360“). Aiden co-wrote the project with Bertie Brandes.

The internet was abuzz with excitement over the eye-popping teaser.
