We’ve all heard the news about former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his very recent relationship status with Katy Perry. But it looks like there’s a surprising new development in the KJU — the Katy Perry-Justin Trudeau Universe, of course.
During a recent appearance on the Smart Girl Dumb Questions podcast, DJ Diplo dropped an absolutely wild bombshell, claiming that he dated both Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau at one point.
The convo started out with Diplo joking about how “horny” the Canadian province of Quebec is. Host Nayeema Raza then steered towards Canada’s current prime minister, Mark Carney, and his supposed hotness. That’s when Diplo chimed in about Perry and Trudeau, casually adding the fact that not only did he once date Perry — but also Trudeau as well.
He went on to say: “That was a weird one though…Cause I’m just not into politicians.” While he said it jokingly, the internet immediately started speculating whether the news is true or false. If it’s true, the timeline would get quite messy — considering Trudeau was still married to Sophie Grégoire from 2005 to 2023.
