Andy Cohen is addressing the rumors about changes in his physical appearance in the new year.
Just a few days ago, Andy hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live special on Dec. 31 alongside his longtime friend Anderson Cooper.
Andy didn’t hesitate to fire back at the shade, revealing the reason behind his different appearance on NYE. “Did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds ! And had a lot of makeup on,” Andy responded.
On a September 2025 episode of Radio Andy, he opened up about his health journey and his experience with microdosing weight loss drugs. “I did, this summer, lose a good chunk of weight by micro-dosing a GLP-1,” he said.
“I was really unhappy with my weight,” he continued. “My doctor and I talked about this last year, had recommended a GLP-1 a few times to not only address what I was feeling about my weight, but treat plaque in my arteries and high blood pressure.”
Andy never clarified which specific GLP-1 drug he used, but shared that it helped with his discipline around food, diet, and working out, especially considering filming Watch What Happens Live gave him so much access to junk food and craft services.
Andy wanted to be forthcoming about his GLP-1 experience because he said it “would be completely hypocritical not to share” after establishing a career in Bravo reality television, where he was constantly “asking people about their body regimens.”
Good for Andy for speaking his truth, but we seriously need to get less comfortable discussing other people’s appearances on social media.
