It was Week 10 in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom, and it finally happened, people. Zac Efron is in the house!!!!!!
Ever since Dylan Efron first joined the competition, everyone’s been wondering when his famous big bro might make an appearance in the live audience to support him. And, much to fans’ delight, the big day finally arrived on Nov. 18.
During last night’s semifinal, celebrating the music of Prince, Zac was seated in the audience alongside his mom and dad, with his five-year-old sister, Olivia, sitting on his lap.
And yeah, it’s safe to say that viewers — and the ballroom camera operators — were thrilled to see him.
As anyone who grew up watching High School Musical will surely tell you, Zac knows a thing or two about nailing tricky choreography. And while he looked incredibly invested in Dylan and Daniella’s dances, an interaction between Zac and his mom has everyone wondering if he was maybe a bit confused by the show’s scoring system…
When Dylan and Daniella received 27/30 from the judges for their Tango, the cameras cut to Zac seemingly asking his mom a question in the audience.
There are a few theories as to what he might have been saying, but the number one suggestion among internet lip-readers is that he was asking, “Is that a good score?” (For the record: Yes, it is.)
Meanwhile, others think he was asking if that was Dylan’s “highest score,” which would also make sense.
Hilariously, the interaction prompted fans to joke that Zac may not have been keeping up to date with his brother’s DWTS journey all that closely. (And who could blame him? He’s Zac Efron! He’s a busy guy!)
But, regardless of how much DWTS Zac has or has not been tuning in for, he pulled through with the support when it really mattered — and Dylan is through to next week’s finals!!
Now, let’s get Zac in to teach Dylan the “Bet On It” choreography from HSM2. It’s what we all wanna see!
