The book nerd is back with another language quiz… Big surprise! This time, we’re diving into literary terms: similes, antonyms, hyperboles, and all that fun stuff. But this time, I won’t be explaining the terms to you. You either know them or you don’t. And even for someone who did well in English class and reads a lot, I had to brush up on a few of these myself. Just a fair warning!
So, with no further ado, let’s dive in. Time to find out if you’re a literary genius…or just an average Joe Schmoe who should definitely crack a book every now and then. Either way, this quiz will soon reveal how much you actually paid attention in English class.
In the comments, share the one book you were forced to read in English class that you couldn’t stand. For me, it’s Lord of the Flies. I wouldn’t reread it, even if you paid me. Well…okay, maybe if you offered over $100, I’d crack it open again. But I still wouldn’t be happy about it.
