Everyone knows ALL candy is appreciated and welcomed on Halloween. However, there is a slight disappointment that comes when you stop at a house that is passing out one of your least favorites.
Well, a little girl recently had this kind of moment, and her reaction was caught on a Ring camera by @rootednjoyy. She shared the hilarious interaction on TikTok, where it is going viral with nearly 20 million views.
The little girl walks up to the door saying, “Trick or treat,” and @rootednjoyy answers politely, saying, “We have candy. Give me one second.”
When she returns, she puts a handful of candy into the girl’s bucket.
And you can see the girl immediately start to process what she is getting:

A bit puzzled, the girl can’t help herself and asks, “Can I ask you a question? Why did y’all get Tootsie Rolls?”
@rootednjoyy immediately starts laughing and explains, “Let me tell you, it was not my idea. It was not my idea,” before offering the girl some Fruit Chews instead.
“I mean, they still good. They a staple,” @rootednjoyy added, trying to defend the candy choice. Remembering to be polite, the little girl tells her, “Have a nice day.” However, the pure disappointment in her voice is very clear as she turns to leave.
