If you’ve read any of my stuff, you know I’m a massive book nerd. I’m always setting new reading goals, keeping an ever-growing list of books to buy (or borrow), and somehow — in my tiny 700 sq. ft. downtown Toronto apartment — way too much of my real estate is taken up by books. But size doesn’t mean a thing — it’s a wildly impressive collection, if I do say so myself.
My dream house has a huge library with a fireplace, a piano, a record player, and a bar cart. So…basically everything I love in one room. (Oh, and obviously, a cat on my lap.) But enough about my library fantasies, we’re here to talk about classic novels.
Sure, you’ve read a few classics — in school or maybe by choice (good for you!). But can you recognize them without any word clues? Cause this time, we’re only using emojis? Think you can do it? Time to find out:
How’d you do? Tell me in the comments — and while you’re at it, drop the most boring classic you’ve ever read. Mine is definitely The Scarlet Letter, hands down. Did you know the whole scandal and red “A” thing is only in the first few chapters? The rest is just Hester Prynne raising her kid. And I can attest: snoooooze.
