These Ordinary Home Objects Exposed Cheating Partners And The Stories Are Wild

“Voids where things should be. There are art pieces/pictures on a wall, but somehow there is a hole in the group, like something is missing. Or there’s a gap on a shelf (bonus points for there actually being a void in the dust on the surface). The medicine cabinet has a shelf that is partially clear, with crowding elsewhere. There is a section of the coat closet where a couple of things could easily hang, a gap in the middle. The presence/evidence of interests he does not have means it is someone else’s interest.”

“Examples: He’s got more than salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano in the spice cabinet, but he doesn’t cook. He’s got live houseplants, but doesn’t notice them. He’s got project supplies, but no in-progress or finished projects around. Think like yarn, but doesn’t knit or crochet anything. If you ask, he can’t really answer: ‘Hey, on the way in I saw the planks and the jigsaw in the garage, do you do woodworking or whatever?’ and his answer doesn’t include ‘I’m working on…, let me show you…, I’m just learning, and I want to make…’

He has books on a shelf that he has never talked about, and he doesn’t know anything about or have a story for them when asked. For instance, several books on music/musicians/music-adjacent art. Same thing for knick-knacks. He’s got a couple of interesting non-generic pieces sitting somewhere, but there is no story behind them.”
