Soulslikes are one of the biggest genres in gaming today, and this is the game that started it all. I think Dark Souls is better and perfected the formula, but there’s no denying that without Demon’s Souls, there would be no Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Lies of P, or Nioh. It introduced a genre that took the gaming world by storm, and it’s one I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of.
