Fellow fashion enthusiasts, it’s been nearly 20 years since The Devil Wears Prada graced us with its presence (me to the filmmakers: “By all means, move at a glacial pace!”). And now, we FINALLY have a look at the sequel to this iconic film because the very first teaser has dropped.
Set to the equally iconic (and very apt) Madonna tune “Vogue,” we first see a pair of aggressive red heels lined with pyramid studs — WHO COULD THEY BELONG TO? (You already know who) — entering the office of Runway.
Then we enter more familiar territory with a brief look at a rack full of gowns (FLORALS?! Let’s hope it’s not spring)…
…and someone being zipped into a very timely and on-trend “nude” gown.
We get a brief shot of someone putting on a FABULOUS hoop earing (Simone Ashley is that you?!)
Champagne popping (because, duh, it’s time to celebrate).
Paparazzi on the red carpet (probably at that previously seen gala?).
And finally, the devil herself, Ms. Miranda Priestly.
Miranda: “Took you long enough.”
