If you’ve been online at all in the past few months, you know that the unofficial word has been that the 27-year-old actor recently ended her engagement to 41-year-old Jonathan Davino three years after they first set plans to wed.
You probably also know that, despite (or, rather, because of) being one of the biggest up-and-coming young stars, Sydney typically stays pretty mum on her personal life — which is why all the split speculation thus far has been just that and nothing more.
Well, Sydney just gave an interview to The Times in which she was asked head-on about whether her engagement to Jonathan was still on — and she was extremely direct.
When the interviewer asked Sydney if she was still planning a wedding, she replied, “No.” And when she was asked if she’s currently single, she replied, “Yes.”
“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends,” she added. “And I’m loving it.”
