Ryan Murphy recently broke the internet with a cast reveal for American Horror Story Season 13. The reel confirmed the return of not just Angela Bassett, but also the dream team: Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, and, in a special casting move, Ariana Grande.

This calibre of lineup is genuinely historic. Since her brief but haunting appearance in Apocalypse (2018), Jessica Lange has not taken a full role since Coven (2013). With both she and Angela now confirmed… are we finally, truly getting the legendary Laveau vs. Fiona showdown? The anticipation is enormous.
