Who would have known the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) would be a sexy talking point this month? 

If you don’t remember, the BLS revised its previous two months of reports, cutting about 258,000 jobs from its former May and June growth numbers. And what does that mean? Well, that job growth in the US has been prettyyyyy stagnant for three months straight, which is not a great look for an economy in what Trump calls the “hottest” country in the world.

And his apparent solution? Firing the Bureau of Labor Statistics commissioner just hours later.
