Back from a long hiatus, the sixth iteration of Scary Movie is on the horizon, and it’s just the kind of film we need right now.
It’s been 26 years since the original Scary Movie, and with a whole new landscape of horror movies, the Wayans brothers have a lot of source material to choose from.
Well, Marlon Wayans revealed that he’s actually had directors spefically request for their films to be involved in the parody, saying “Jordan Peele actually asked, ‘sooo, are you doing one of my movies?'”
And now we’ve seen the trailer, it looks like Jordan will be very pleased: a very funny looking take on the iconic hypnotism scene from Get Out pops up in the trailer.
And that’s not the only parody to be excited about. Scary Movie is sending up all of our recent favourites – Sinners, John Wick, Scream, and lots of other familiar faces.
And of course a much awaited reunion between Cindy and Brenda!
