People Are Split On Chloe Fineman’s Awkward Story About Greeting Demi Moore In A Restaurant

Chloe Fineman Shares Awk Demi Moore Restaurant TikTok

Chloe Fineman shared the awkward interaction she says ensued after she tried to say hello to Demi Moore at a restaurant.

The SNL star recently went on her TikTok, along with her sister, to say that they’d had “the best day of our lives” in New York — before they tried to find somewhere to eat around Madison Avenue, which Chloe referred to as somewhat of a “food desert.”

The pair said they settled on an Italian restaurant, where she was apparently told “right this way” by a server. “I walk into a room, there’s several empty tables, and I sit down, and then I look up, and it’s Pilaf, little mouse, the celebrity dog of Demi Moore. And I see Demi Moore,” Chloe explained.

“I was like, ‘Oh, hi.’ We’ve met once or twice, and I’ve held Pilaf because Pilaf was backstage at an SNL show,” she continued. “And then she fully said, ‘hi’ back.”

“And then the manager sees me,” Chloe said. “I had no makeup on. Did I not look legitimate enough for this empty room…? And the guy’s like, ‘What are you doing here? Ma’am, come, come, come with me now.'”

Despite there being a “thousand empty tables,” the sisters said the manager told them that they did not have a reservation (after telling another table that they couldn’t switch their reservation from indoors to outdoors, despite the apparent abundance of seats). She continued, “I was like, ‘Okay. Calm down. I’m not nobody. I’m on SNL.”

According to Chloe, the manager told her, “I don’t care who you are, I treat everybody the same. You have to talk to me first.” They then apparently called one another “rude,” before, in Chloe’s words, “Let’s just say, a personality of mine started to come up that I don’t love. You could call it a Karen. I also call it living in New York and everyone is rude as fuck. Literally, all I did was say hi to Pilaf, little mouse.”

DJ Samantha Ronson then hopped into the comments to say that she was there with Demi when the whole thing went down, and that they were “so confused and horrified.”

As for the comments from regular folk, it was pretty split between the “this isn’t relatable” and “New York sarcasm” varieties:

One of which Chloe replied to:

So, what do you make of this whole thing? LMK in the comments!
