The universe itself is so unfathomably huge that it seems impossible that there wouldn’t be life out there. Not necessarily advanced, space-travelling life, but there’s definitely at least one other planet or moon that can support life. Or some species that evolved to withstand the conditions of whatever rock they’re on.”
