We often prefer advice that is comforting, wrapped up in bubble wrap and delivered delicately. Sometimes thought what we really need to hear are the hard, honest truths.
User nadiaaavelvet on Reddit asked, “What’s a truth most people aren’t ready to hear?” and just make sure you’re in a good enough place to hear some of these.

“If you don’t actively shape the life you desire each day, you’ll wake up to find that years have slipped by unnoticed.”

“A lot of people lack empathy and nothing you can say, no logical argument, no story, no example of human connection will change them. Stop wasting your time on them, and cherish the people who do.”
