“For those that haven’t heard of them, basically, when one kid gets the chicken pox, all the other unvaccinated kids come over and share popsicles to spread the infection. As I recall, parents would also save extra popsicle sticks and mail them to other anti-vax families around the country. It took me quite a few tries to get infected, so I went to a bunch! I thought it was totally normal at the time. 5-year-old me was mostly stoked on the promise of unlimited popsicle sticks.
I am now happily vaccinated. :)”
