“A ticket to the Super Bowl. When my team kept winning in the playoffs, my friends and I started researching how much it would cost to just be in the city during the SB. My friend had family there, and they said we could stay with them. We found a city to fly into (approx. three hours away) that was reasonably priced, and it was significantly cheaper to fly there and rent a car than to fly directly into the SB host city. Until the night before we left, we had only planned to be there, but not attend the game. But the prices came down significantly, and we bought tickets.”
