David Harbour’s ex, Alison Sudol, subtly reacted to Lily Allen’s new album, West End Girl.
Alison is a singer herself, making music under the name A Fine Frenzy, and is also known for acting in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. She began dating David in 2018, and wrote on Valentine’s Day the following year, “I’m sitting here and I’m thinking to myself, wow, this human being that I am on this crazy journey with is pretty unbelievable. What a generous, large-hearted, roaring wonder of a person I get to walk around and do stuff with.”
However, they reportedly split by July 2019. He would be photographed with Lily the following month, tying the knot just over a year later.
By now, you’ve likely heard that Lily’s new album is about an unfaithful husband who pressures her into an open relationship, only for their marriage to further deteriorate. Lily said of the resemblance to her real-life marriage to David, “There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel. It is inspired by what went on in the relationship.”
So, it might be interesting to note that when Lily announced the album on Oct. 20, Alison was in the comments hyping it up:
Then, Lily shared a visualizer for the scathing song “Pussy Palace,” which includes the lyrics, “Duane Reade bag with the handles tied / Sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside / Hundreds of Trojans, you’re so fucking broken / How’d I get caught up in your double life?”
And who should be in the “likes”? Well, Alison.
Aaaaaand I’ll end the speculation there.
