Older Adults Are Revealing The Everyday Products From The ’60s, ’70s, And ’80s That They Still Swear By


“The first time I tried it, I was shocked at the result. It washed out beautifully, and my hair looked and felt like silk. You know the commercials where the hair model swings her hair back and forth over her shoulders? That was me. My hair texture has changed over the years from straight, fine, and dense to wavy, dense, and frizzy, and I’ve fallen victim to trends (looking at you, coconut oil), but nothing’s worked as well or made my hair look better than this product. I’m 69 now, and my hair is long and layered. At least once a month, someone compliments my hair and asks what products I use.”
