Recently, Reddit user nomanskyprague1993 wrote a post in r/Millennials that sparked a lively discussion. They stated: “I’m never going to charge my child for living with me.”

“As soon as I hit 18, I had to start paying rent at home. I think this was a normal way for millennials growing up to learn responsibility. I get it, but for some reason I found it quite insulting. I promised myself I will never charge my child to live with me.”
