The Cyrus siblings revealed the questionable advice they were raised with, courtesy of mom Tish Cyrus.
The momager was married to Billy Ray Cyrus for almost three decades before their divorce in 2022. She’s now married to Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell, despite rumors that he previously dated her daughter, Noah. Neither has confirmed nor denied the speculation, but Noah is currently engaged to a fashion designer who goes by the name of Pinkus.
Now, Tish and Noah, as well as sisters Miley and Brandi, are on the cover of The Cut. In the interview, they were asked what they’ve had to learn “the hard way.” In response, Noah said, “My last relationship…Honestly, I thought it was going to work with the last one, but it didn’t.”
Miley then interjected, “Mom’s always wanted me to stay with the wrong guy ’cause they’re hot.”
To this, Tish replied, “Well, that was great advice because after so many years, you’re kind of over it and you’re like…in a relationship. At least you get to look at somebody that’s frigging hot!”
Miley, who is now in a relationship with drummer Maxx Morando, said, “No, I ended up with a person who means a lot to me and treats me really well and respects me. I had to learn that the hard way because my mommy taught me the wrong way and then I had to learn the right way by myself.”
“I had to find someone who treats me with respect and then Mom never really put that on the top three of her must-haves. Mom was like, They need to be tall. My man’s hot as hell too. But my man also respects me,” Miley added, noting that her mother has at least now “found someone that is hot and respects her.”
