The Tasty Talent Residency is designed for creators who are passionate about food, storytelling, and short-form content that connects with audiences everywhere. Residents get hands-on experience creating videos alongside our talented Tasty team, experimenting with new formats, and building their own unique voice in the digital food space.
Residents come from all corners of the culinary world — from home chefs to food enthusiasts with strong social media presence. They bring creativity, curiosity, and a love for sharing food culture with the world. Over the course of the program, residents collaborate with Tasty producers and content innovators to create weekly videos across TikTok, Instagram, Reels, YouTube, and Facebook.
We’re especially excited to introduce Juan Duran, who was born in Cali, Colombia, and raised in South Florida. Juan is a food and lifestyle creator known for blending culture and storytelling with a vibrant, visual style. After the passing of his father in 2018, he launched @juanbiteatatime as an outlet to merge his love of food and photography into a creative journey.
By 2020, he left the corporate world to pursue content creation full time, and in 2023, he collaborated with BuzzFeed for the first time to share his take on the Colombian dessert merengón. Now splitting his time between Miami and Boston, he continues to explore life and flavor, one bite at a time.
