Lana Del Rey’s New Album Has A *Very* Interesting Title, And The Internet Has Thoughts

Lana Del Rey’s New Album Title, “Stove,” Has Fans Torn

If you’re a ride-or-die Lana fan, you probably didn’t even blink when the new album title dropped. Of course, it’s called Stove, and the release date has been pushed until January 2026. That’s so Lana. Honestly, the same energy she gave when she sang “Nothing scares me anymore” in “Summertime Sadness” is the energy fans have every time she does something wildly on-brand and off-the-wall. Nothing shocks us anymore. She’s our melancholic, often-blazed fairy godmother, and we adore every beautifully bizarre thought she blesses us with.

But, I repeat — yep, it’s real. Lana Del Rey’s next album is called Stove. Like, the kitchen appliance. Like, the thing you make eggs on. The thing with burners. STOVE.

And honestly? The title Stove just makes sense. I mean, this is a woman who reportedly married an alligator swamp tour guide and now lives in Louisiana. I can absolutely picture her gently warming milk for some stray baby deer in a chipped vintage pot, all while wearing a sheer prairie dress and keeping her hair up with a pencil. Don’t you? I call it Lana-core.

But let’s be real — the internet has thoughts about this album title. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just Lana-curious, there’s a lot to unpack. I mean, we’ve been blessed with some iconic titles over the years. Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd? — That’s art. And Born to Die? That’s metal as hell. And one of my fave titles: Chemtrails Over the Country Club. So yeah, Stove definitely threw people for a loop.

Honestly, I can’t wait. If anyone can turn a literal stove into a deeply poetic, strangely devastating metaphor, it’s Lana. Give me songs about swimming with alligators, late-night parking lot heart-to-hearts with her husband, and saying goodbye to Los Angeles. I’m so ready.

Here’s what the internet has to say about the title news:

What do you think about the new album title? I honestly think it suits her well, and I am so excited to see what she’ll do with it — as always. But I also understand that it isn’t as iconic as some of her other titles. But hey, at least it is *slightly* more romantic than fridge, or mop, or IDK, recycling bin. I’m here for Stove. Are you? Tell me your thoughts in the comments.
