If you’ve been online at all, you already know that Kim’s Hulu TV series All’s Fair has gotten a critical drubbing by pretty much anyone who’s laid eyes on it. We’re talking “0% on Rotten Tomatoes” level brutal.
The reaction has been so strongly negative that Kim and costar Glenn Close have both defended the show in various ways on social media. Then again, it is also seemingly a bonafide hit, so you can probably expect more All’s Fair in the future.
In fact, you’re way more likely to see Kim playing a lawyer on TV than you are being a lawyer in an actual courtroom — at least, according to the news she recently shared on her IG Story.
Yesterday, Kim took to social media to reveal in a statement that she received her results from taking the California Bar Exam this past July — and, as it turns out, she did not pass.
“Well…I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a well-dressed one on TV,” she wrote. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination.”
“Thank you to every who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far. Falling short isn’t failure – it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!!!!!”
Hey, if at first you don’t succeed, try try again. Next time, though, maybe lay off the ChatGPT when it comes to studying.
