The first occurred in 2018 — just days before she was due to give birth to their daughter, True — when multiple videos emerged of Tristan with different women on two separate occasions. The pair did ultimately stay together, but getting back in her good graces wasn’t easy.
Khloé recalled one grand gesture Tristan made to win her back on a recent episode of her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land — he invited R&B singer Giveon over to sing to her.
“There was one time I was serenaded, and it was I think just a random day because I wasn’t expecting it,” Khloé, who also shares son, Tatum, with Tristan, said. “This was years ago. Tatum wasn’t born. Yeah, it was just True.”
“I was in the backyard, and Tristan was like, ‘Come outside,’ and Giveon came.”
Khloé clarified, “Giveon wasn’t who he was now. And he is just singing. I remember I hated Tristan, and I was like, ‘Why are you doing this?’”
She said Tristan tried to lean into the moment by cozying up to her, but she wasn’t having it. “I’m like, slapping him,” she said, “and poor Giveon is still singing. It was mortifying.”
Khloé said she then went inside to get True so she could get away from Tristan because she was “so annoyed” with him. “And it was so funny,” she added. “And to this day, if I see Giveon, he’ll be like, ‘Remember?'”
“Giveon was so professional, he was so great, he didn’t break his song at all. He’s amazing. I love him, but how awkward for him. Poor guy,” Khloé concluded, adding, “I love you, Giveon.”
People later confirmed in May 2018 that Khloé and Tristan were making their relationship work post-scandal. A source told the publication, “Khloé seems happy. She loves being a mom. She’s focused on keeping her family together. She seems okay with Tristan — there’s no talk of a split.”
However, the relationship sadly became strained again less than a year later after Tristan was involved in another cheating scandal — this time, with Khloé’s family friend Jordyn Woods. The two eventually ended their relationship for good in 2022, after it was revealed that Tristan had fathered a child outside of their relationship.
