In the clip, Palmer — who was born Lauren Keyana Palmer — is asked, “Why do you prefer to go by Keke instead of Lauren?”
She then reveals she actually doesn’t prefer to go by Keke instead of Lauren!!
The only reason she ended up going with “Keke” is because her former manager overheard her mom calling her by her family name and realized it would be a great stage name.
“So it went from being just something that my family called me to be something that the whole world called me,” Palmer says.
The actor ends the clip by saying, “More than anything, I would love to go back to Lauren.”
