Orlando and Katy, 48 and 40 respectively, began dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in 2019. It’s not the first time they’ve split, as they previously took a yearlong break in 2017. They share a 4-year-old daughter named Daisy.
News of their split follows weeks of rumors surrounding the pair, with one report earlier this month stating that the failure of Katy’s album 143 “made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.”
Shortly after, a source further claimed that the couple were “pretty much done” and that they “don’t really see them being able to turn things around here” — though Katy is currently focused on her tour.
A source further told Us Weekly, “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable…It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
Katy is currently on tour in Australia, so it’s unlikely that she’ll be joining Orlando at the billionaire Venice wedding.
