Joe Rogan Slams Trump’s Comments About Rob Reiner As “Disappointing” And Unfunny

Joe Rogan Slams Trump’s Comments About Rob Reiner

On Dec. 15, Trump alleged that Rob and his wife, Michele’s, deaths were “due to the anger he caused others” from “Trump Derrangement Syndrome,” a ridiculous moniker given to people who are outspoken against the president.

In a not-so-shocking turn of events, many people who once championed Trump for the presidency, such as Joe Rogan, are changing their tune following his comments about the director of Stand By Me. “The Rob Reiner thing is not funny,” Joe said during a Dec. 25 Joe Rogan Experience episode with Shane Gillis, comparing it to Trump’s viral plaques in the White House.

“When you see it with no empathy, that’s when it’s hard to like,” Joe said. “Listen, there’s no justification for what he did that makes any sense in a compassionate society. It’s no different than people that were celebrating when Charlie Kirk got shot. It’s the same kind of thing.”

“It would be like if Obama tweeted ‘Rest in piss,'” Shane included.

“Imagine if Obama tweeted something about someone after they died in this way. That this person was a deranged person that hated Obama,” Joe added.

He continued, “It just shows you how crazy it is, the way Trump thinks and talks. It’s just like, the guy got sliced up by his kid, you know? Anybody that doesn’t see that and go, ‘Fuck, man.'”

Joe suggested that somebody should’ve taken Trump’s “fucking phone” away before he started posting to Truth Social, adding that he was “so disappointed” by the president’s remarks. “It’s so disappointing,” he said. “It’s like why… if you say that privately, that’s one thing, which is also crazy, but it’s so disappointing… someone would have to be the worst person ever and then you’d be like fuck that guy.”

In Trump’s Truth Social post, he said, “A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS. He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”

Following Trump’s startling remarks, many notable people from Hollywood and Washington, D.C., have slammed Trump for his statements, including Rob Reiner, Jimmy Kimmel, Roseanne Barr, Jasmine Crockett, and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
