"It's Always Haunted Me": Nurses Are Sharing The Most Shocking Patient Deaths They've Ever Seen

“I saw an honest-to-goodness, solid-looking ghost. I had a hospice patient call me and ask if I could come out a day early, so I did. I let myself in as usual, and saw her visiting with a handsome young man. I went about my business to allow the visit to continue with who I assumed was her grandson. I even said ‘excuse me’ when I needed to get by him. When I got back to her bedroom, he was gone. I told her he didn’t need to leave just because I was there. Her reaction wasn’t what I expected. She was so excited that I could see him! I was confused…of course I could see him! Why the hell wouldn’t I be able to see him? She proceeded to tell me that her daughter thought she was off her rocker, and that was her late father, who had died before she was born. He’d been visiting her the last week, waiting until she was ready to go home with him.”

“She thanked me for taking such good care of her, and she asked me to come out early because she was leaving tonight. She died peacefully in her sleep later that evening.

Her daughter totally tripped out that I saw ghost-daddy as a solid-looking person, and said her daughter had claimed to also see him, but she thought she had just been humoring her grandma.”
