Introduction, life update and more! ✨
Happy Friday everyone! Since I’ve been seeing a lot of new faces 👩🏻👨🏻 around my IG channel I decided to re-introduce myself and give you guys some life updates 📝.

I’m 27 years old originally from Lima, Peru 🇵🇪 but I’ve been living in the USA 🇺🇸 for about 10 years. I have a 6 year old son 👦🏻 who has been the greatest gift that God has given me in my life and the most game-changing 💕.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before entering the world of tech I studied Public Relations and Interior Design 🏠. I took a 4 year break from studying due to me taking care of my son but after the long break I decided it was time for me to go back to school 🏫 to get my associates degree in Web Development and Design 💻.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everyone in my class had already programming experience while to me this was all new 📚. I noticed that 90% of the class were men and only a few of us were females 🤷🏻‍♀️. I was surrounded by all these amazing people who were so smart and talented 🤓 but that didn’t stop me from continuing with my dreams and becoming a supporter of having more women in tech👩🏻‍💻.

3 years later and here I am only one semester away from graduation 👩🏻‍🎓 and working as a Software Engineer at Foot Locker 👟. Some of my tech skills include: Javascript, Java, Swift, C, C#, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, NodeJs, mySQL, some Python and PHP, this is just to mention a few 🛠.

I’m currently working to obtain all the certifications on freeCodeCamp and working on a big project with my boyfriend @kimo_dev 👨🏻‍💻💗. Kimo and I are also thinking on doing some freelancing together probably in the next couple of months 💼.
