My husband is colour blind. In fact, our first fight as a couple was about him thinking my eyes were brown, not green. I told him, “If you don’t know, then ask!” I realized later that my outburst was incredibly unfair. But hey, I was 21, and distraught that my boyfriend didn’t wallow in my green eyes. But I admit, there are worse fights to have.
