“I came within a hair’s breadth of cheating on her. At after-work drinks in a group, a friend of a friend gave me lots of attention, even when the whole group was talking. It escalated to her ‘accidentally’ knocking my leg with her foot and then keeping it there, which I didn’t discourage. When the group went to a club, she told me that she was probably going home.
