I Tried McDonald's In South Korea, And It Completely Changed My Fast Food Standards

I went for the fries first! I have to say, they weren’t as crispy as the ones back home. In the States, when you get fries that are just out of the fryer, they’re pretty darn amazing. Like, it’s the best. But these were lukewarm and not crispy. For that, I’d have to give the fries a 2/5.

Next were the chicken nuggets! Another McDonald’s classic. My dining partner was my mom, and she actually liked these much better than the ones back home. I found them to be similar — that kind of dried texture on the inside and out, but that distinct mild chicken nuggets taste. I found myself reaching for them quite easily, though. 2.5/5!

The mozzarella sticks. So, they weren’t amazing, but I just love a mozzarella stick. Unfortunately, these were also lukewarm. If they were warm (and crispy), I think I would have gotten a decent cheese pull and given them a higher score. If these were available in the States, I would still probably add them to my order from time to time. 2.5/5.
