I Tried A Ton Of Boysenberry Foods At Knott’s — Here’s My Ranking

I thought I would love this. I’ve had sweet dessert tamales before, and they’re SO good. But the tamale itself, without the sauce, lacked flavor. The sauce was creamy and sweet, so that, on top of the flavorless tamale, was… not my favorite. Maybe they could’ve used more boysenberries in the filling? IDK. Perhaps they were going for more savory/sweet, but if that’s the case, I didn’t get enough savory!
