I Just Watched “Heated Rivalry,” And It Was So Sexy That I Needed To Dunk My Head In Ice Water

Why ‘Heated Rivalry’ Is The Sexiest Show On Streaming

Heated Rivalry is all the internet can talk about. I swear I can’t grab a drink or have a coffee date without it coming up. Even if someone hasn’t watched it, they’ve definitely heard of it — and for all the right reasons. It’s not just spicy, steamy, and oh-so-hot; it’s tender and romantic, too. It makes you laugh, cry, and yearn…all in a single episode. We seriously just can’t get enough.

If you need a quick primer on Heated Rivalry: Montreal captain Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) meets his match in Boston Bear Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie). Their rivalry burns hot — on the ice and off — and suddenly hockey isn’t the only thing heating up, if you know what I mean. (Of course you do.)

I must say, for a girl who has ZERO interest in watching anything sports-related, it’s wild how quickly this show has me considering getting season passes for my local team. Like, I am this close to special-ordering a “Rozanov” jersey and swapping my figure skates for hockey ones.

Based on the novel by our very own Canadian gem, Rachel Reid, this book-to-screen adaptation has fans absolutely gushing over how accurate and well-executed it is. And honestly, as someone who has dove deep into the show myself, I can confirm — along with the entire internet — that it’s absolutely fantastic.

Just look at how every corner of the internet is absolutely gushing. Like, we’re counting down the minutes until each episode:

And we’re loosing our minds over how sexy it is:

And yes, we’re even blushing while making crafts — cause everyone loves a resourceful chick:

But above all, we’re totally obsessing over every. single. scene. Like:

Are you watching Heated Rivalry? Tell me in the comments. And if you want to get spicy, tell me which scene has been your favourite so far. I want to gush with fellow fans.

Heated Rivalry premiered its first two episodes on Friday, November 28th, on Crave in Canada and HBO Max in the U.S. and Australia. And new episodes will be dropping every Friday. So make sure you tune in.
