The reports came more than a year after sources claimed that the actor and the Coldplay singer had actually been engaged for years. Wild stuff!
Of course, you also know that Chris was married to Gwyneth Paltrow from 2003 to 2016. They share two children together, Apple and Moses — and, despite the divorce, they’ve maintained a publicly cordial relationship together.
A source tells the publication that Gwyneth “developed a close friendship” with Dakota during her relationship with Chris, and that she “fully intends on maintaining that bond.”
The source also says that Dakota and Gwyneth “have grown close over the years and Gwyneth even considers Dakota family.”
“There’s a genuine mutual respect between Gwyneth and Dakota, and they have a lot in common. They both grew up in the spotlight, have been in the business for years, and really relate to each other’s experiences.”
