The oldest on this list, released in 1960, this one is the horror classic. It set records, broke boundaries, and defied norms. This set up so many of the horror movies we know and love today. Plus, fun fact, this was the first film to show a toilet flushing. This isn’t just one of my favorite horror films; it’s also one of my favorite movies, full stop, period. It’s so good, and if you’re thinking a black-and-white movie from the ’60s can’t be chilling, you’re surely wrong. The final shot of the movie genuinely gives me chills every time I watch it. If you’re a horror fan, you cannot to pass this one up.
