In 2018, I had the pleasure of travelling to Ghana with my sister and a family friend for a wedding. It was my first time on the continent as an adult. I’ll always remember how it felt to be surrounded by so many people who looked just like me for the first time. Though the wedding was the main event, I managed to fit in some time to explore Ghana.
