“I started my career in Seattle, WA, and never had any passenger issues. Pacific Northwest customers are largely mellow and easygoing. My next base was JFK in New York City, and I was shocked at how much more challenging the customers were. New Yorkers literally don’t give a f*ck and will challenge you on everything. BUT, once you figure out how to deal with them, nothing fazes you anymore.”

“Two routes stick out to me as ones I avoid: JFK – FLL (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and MIA (Miami) – ATL (Atlanta). Fort Lauderdale is home to the highest concentrations of Karens and Kens, and they all think they’re owed the world. Miami to Atlanta has a high concentration of leisure travelers and first-time flyers who don’t understand the nuances of air travel.”
