Druski’s Controversial “American Patriot” Skit Is Going Mega-Viral. Here’s How The Internet Is Reacting To It

The video called, “That guy who is just proud to be an American” has already received over 174 million views, and features Druski — a Black man — in head-to-toe white makeup, American-themed tattoos, a mullet wig, and a pair of blue jean overalls.

At the start of the video, Druski holds up a Budweiser for a toast…

Then he shares a cigarette with a woman sitting on his lap…

Afterwards, he drives his truck around blasting the song “Born in the USA” by Bruce Springsteen…

And he removes his cowboy hat for the Pledge of Allegiance…

The now-viral video has spawned thousands of different reactions. Some people absolutely loved it, calling the skit “performance art…”

And called for Druski to be on the cast of SNL…

While others didn’t find it quite as humorous. “But a white comedian doing black face is racist…” one person commented.

“We don’t need to promote the stereotype…” another person wrote.

And Podcaster Theo Von had this to say, which some people are interpreting as him possibly showing interest in doing “Black face.”
