Updated my Lenovo PC, two days ago, no problems whatsoever.
This has been MS policy for a long time. As a consumer, I have no problem downloading the software before Patch Tuesday, when I would have it downloaded anyway on said day. The optional C and D updates sometimes come with known issues, but that’s also often the case with the monthly Patch Tuesday updates. That being said, and the fact that MS has stated in its blogs and in Video how the Check for Updates button works, they could have laid it out better for the consumer to make a more informed decision regarding these updates. But this is all to do about nothing, and the software being released is not Beta, and most consumers do not go into Settings, Update and Security and just let Windows auto update out of the box.
Microsoft should need to stop this bullshit practise. It really shows how much respect they have for you.
looks like i got rid of windows just in time for all this bs, but well i didnt update it anyways
