Singin’ in the Rain is one of my favorite movies, and I watch it a lot. For some reason, though, I’m always caught off guard when the movie starts and it’s in color. I could tell you the colors of each costume, but my brain refuses to remember the film isn’t black-and-white when I cue it up, and I’m always, for some inexplicable reason, pleasantly surprised.
