Christopher Meloni’s Favorite “Law & Order” Episode Is Peak Stabler Energy

Christopher Meloni Law & Order: Organized Crime Puppy Interview

Anyone with a heartbeat likely knows and loves Christopher Meloni. The Law & Order franchise actor is like fine wine: he just gets better with time.

To celebrate the fifth season premiere of Law & Order: Organized Crime, Chris stopped by BuzzFeed to play with puppies and answer some of our burning questions.

First, the Emmy-nominated actor shared what his favorite Law & Order episode is:

In 2006, Chris received his first Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Season 7, Episode 4, titled “Ripped.” This episode focuses on his character, Detective Stabler, as he grapples with his anger while investigating a murder case involving a high school student.

Elsewhere in the interview, Chris name-dropped notable guest stars who stood out to him over the years while filming the beloved series:

The internet’s favorite DILF joked about how his children feel about their dad being crowned a sex symbol online:

He later recalled auditioning for the role of Agent Smith in The Matrix:

I personally can’t get over the moment when Chris attempted to recite the iconic Law & Order: SVU theme song:

The whole thing is too darn cute, and you just have to watch it for yourself!

And be sure to catch him in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5, with new episodes streaming on Peacock.
