We’ve seen a lot of people remember Catherine O’Hara for her roles in Home Alone.
Other people bring up her role as Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek.
But real ones recognize just how iconic she was in one of the greatest comedies of all time(!!!), Best in Show.
In case you somehow haven’t seen it, Catherine played the one and only Cookie Fleck who enters her Norwich Terrier, Winky, into the Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show.
ANYWAY, last night was the Westminster Dog Show.
FWIW, Penny the Doberman pinscher won best in show.
But I’m here to talk about the unexpected Catherine O’Hara tribute that happened when the Norwich terrier was announced:
They played a montage on the big screen accompanied by this iconic quote: “I would like to stand up and here and tell you that this was just a walk in the cake, but it wasn’t. Big dreams come true only to those who do not sleep on the job.”
As this person said, “This is priceless. I bet it would be one of her favourite tributes.”
