Bugonia explores one of my favourite topics, conspiracy theories. I love putting on my tinfoil hat for two seconds, diving in and coming back out, so I wanted to ask you both what’s a conspiracy theory that you love to always talk about?
Emma: That’s SOOO private haha!
Jesse: Don’t ask Emily that, haha!
Emma: I can not talk about that on camera right now, haha!
Haha, okay, okay!
Jesse: I just want to say all the crazy ones!
Emma: Me too.
Jesse: But I’m not going to, haha, because that’s the headline!
Emma: I have a friend who said, “If I were interviewing today, I would ask if birds are real, yes or no?” Are birds real? Do we think they’re real?
Jesse: That’s a big thing!
Emma: Is that really a thing?
How is that a thing? Do people think that?
Emma: I hadn’t heard that.
Jesse: You haven’t heard about that?
Emma: What, like they’re drones or something?
Jesse: Birds are fake.
Emma: Okay, you heard it here first, birds are fake.
I have never heard that, there are loads of them haha.
Jesse: Hahaha just look it up!
Emma: Do your own research!
Jesse: So you said that knowing it’s a thing!
Emma: No, she just said that if she were doing the junket today, she would say, “Are birds real, yes or no?” All my friends sound like crazy people, but I do have a friend who, for a long time, held the belief that dinosaurs were not real and were something that science teachers made up to get kids interested in science.
That’s such an elaborate lie!
Emma: You’d be like, “What about all the bones?” and she’s like “, They can plant those bones”
Jesse: Haha, so many bones have been planted.
Years of investment.
Emma: It’s an amazing, amazing hoax.
Okay, so no birds, no dinosaurs.
Emma: I’m not saying I agree, this is just stuff I’ve heard!
Jesse: We’re just saying, look it up!
Emma: Do your own research, okay, haha!
