“This is a newly built subsidised flat. I live in Singapore, and every citizen is eligible to purchase a flat from the Housing and Development Board (HDB),” they wrote. “Single citizens aged 35 and above can purchase either a new 1-bedroom flat with a fresh 99-year lease, or buy any flat type from the resale market through property agents.”
