“The higher-ups and wealthy donors that control the GOP have wanted all of this for years. My employer paid for me to go back to school as an adult due to a contract dispute with our labor union. We didn’t get to pick the school. The school they picked for us was a right-wing Christian business school. I figured my life would be better if I had a degree than it would be if I turned down the offer, so I accepted it. You would not believe some of the shit they are teaching these kids.”

“They basically want to isolate our whole country and produce everything we need within our borders. Their reasoning is that ‘we used to.’ Yeah, we did about a hundred years ago.

They know that people will suffer in the process, but they simply don’t care because the end justifies the means. They also don’t believe that a middle class should exist and that the wealthy, as ‘creators of wealth,’ shouldn’t have to pay any kind of taxes. They think the only responsibility the federal government should have is protecting us from foreign invaders. They also want to do away with the federal minimum wage. 

They even tried to blame the institution of the federal minimum wage for causing Black plight. Yeah, according to them, the minimum wage prevented Black shop owners from being able to run profitable businesses in Black neighborhoods, and that’s why there are so many poor Black folks. Seriously, they claim this.
