We’ve all seen the rom-coms where the protagonist is talking to their friends about how to keep the person they’re seeing interested. The usual tactic: breadcrumbing, aka playing the hot-and-cold game.
You reply consistently one day, then leave it focdfedrr 24 hours, and then return to replying again. It seems like this tactic has made a return.
Why have we become so afraid of showing interest? Is it because we’re scared of rejection? Maybe it’s because we were always told to “not act too keen.”
